All payments for ANZIAM 2017 are handled by PayPal and payments can be made using either:

  1. a credit or debit card; or
  2. a PayPal account.

You do not need to create a PayPal account to pay using a credit or debit card. If you wish to pay without using a PayPal account select the option labelled "Pay with Credit or Debit Card", highlighed in the adjacent screenshot. When you reach the PayPal site your browser may ask you to log in using a PayPal account that you have used perviously. You must first confirm that you do not wish to use the account before reaching the options shown in the screenshot.

Abstracts for conference talks may be submitted through the registration system. You may submit an abstract during the registration process or return to submit an abstract later.

Your abstract should be either plain text or a simple LaTeX fragment. LaTeX fragments may use only the standard packages amsmath, amsfonts, amssymb and hyperref. They should not include any preamble, usepackage, begin document, end document or maketitle statements. Please limit your abstract to half a page.

When submitting an abstract you will be asked to select keywords that describe your talk to assist in preparing the talk programme. If you are a member of JSIAM please include "JSIAM Member" as a keyword. Talks arising from collaboration between researchers from Japan and Australian/New Zealand should also use "Japan-Australia/NZ collaboration" as a keyword.

Registration Categories and Prices

All prices are in Australian Dollars. Early-bird prices are available until the 16th of December, 2016. All categories include a ticket to the welcome reception on Sunday (the 5th of February), along with lunch and tea breaks from Monday to Thursday of the conference. Registration does not include a ticket to the conferece banquet, which may be purchased separately.

Conference delegates who wish to bring a guests over 12 years old to the welcome reception, lunches and tea breaks must purchase a ticket for each accompanying person. This category may only be purchased in conjunction with one of the other registration categories when selecting additional conference events. Like the other registration categories, an accompanying person's registration does not include a ticket to the conference banquet, which may be purchased separetely.

Registrations paid for and subsequently cancelled before the 8th of January, 2017 will be refunded less a 25% administration fee. After this date no refunds can be offered; however, the registration may be transfered to a different name.

Conference Events

Tickets to the Conference Banquet, WIMSIG Women in Mathematics Lunch and MBSIG Workshop may be purchased during the registration process. The prices for these events are listed below.

Conference Banquet

The Conference Banquet will be held at Maximillian's Restaurant on Wednesday, the 8th of February. Tickets to the Banquet are not included with registration but may be purchased separately during the registration process. Delegates may purchase additional tickets for guests, who need not be registered as an accompanying person.

All tickets to the Banquet include a return bus trip between Hahndorf and the dinner venue.

Student Support Scheme

Student members of ANZIAM can access funding to attend ANZIAM 2017 through the Student Support Scheme. Applications must be made through the form available on the Student Support Scheme website, and be submitted to the Chair of the Student Support Committee. Applications are due by the 16th of December, 2016 (the close of early-bird registration). Students must register and pay for the conference in addition to applying for the Student Support Scheme, and must present a talk at the Conference. The Scheme will fund up to a maximum of 40% of the total costs.
