I am a postdoctoral research associate in the School of Mathematical Sciences at the University of Adelaide. The project I am working on uses mathematical modelling to understand the patterns observed in yeast colonies and is led by Assoc. Prof. Ben Binder and Prof. Stephen Oliver. Further details can be found on my research page.
I completed a PhD in applied mathematics in the School of Mathematical Sciences at the University of Adelaide. My research looked at the fluid flows that arise during the fabrication of microstructured optical fibres. An overview of some of my PhD research can be found in my PhD communication project. This provides an overview of some of the maths and modelling I've used in my project. The website is aimed at third-year mathematics students but will hopefully contain something interesting regardless of your mathematical background.
