Agenda and Papers Council Reports Special Resolution

The sixty-second Annual General Meeting of the Australian Mathematical Society will be held at 2 pm on Thursday 6th December in the Horace Lamb Lecture Theatre. You can now view the agenda and papers and the Council Reports for the AGM.

Special Resolution

At the AGM a Special Resolution will be put to amend paragraph 67 of the Society's Constitution, so that it reads as follows:

67(1) Notice of the ballot and instructions for voting shall be sent by the Secretary to each Honorary, Ordinary or Sustaining Member of the Society at least thirty days before the ballot closes.

(2) The ballot paper shall be made available to the members by post, facsimile, electronic mail or by any other method of electronic transferral of information, as determined from time to time by the Council.

(3) A ballot paper completed in accordance with the constitution shall be valid if returned to the Secretary by post, facsimile, electronic mail or any other method of electronic transferral of information, as determined from time to time by the Council.
